Offer Description The project aims to develop control laws for high-performance dynamic mobile robots, focusing on a ground rover and a quad-copter.
The robots will follow bi- and tri-dimensional paths generated through clothoids.
The planned activities include:
Definition of the hardware for the robots and the ground control station, including sensors, actuators, computation units, and communication systems. Assembly, configuration, and testing of the robots and the communication network. Study of the robots' dynamics, mathematical modeling, and implementation of a simulator. Creation of a "software-in-the-loop" (SIL) test environment to implement models and control laws. Creation of a "hardware-in-the-loop" (HIL) test environment for real-time simulations. Realization of a "field-test" (FT) environment for on-field tests. Design and implementation of stabilization control laws. Implementation of "clothoid path-following" laws.
