Design Engineer For Electronic Hardware
The Electronic Design Engineer is responsible for driving the HW development in design, validation, and testing of embedded systems for avionics, based on mixed signals HW boards, for both full authority-based (e. g.
FADEC) and hybrid electric-based propulsion systems.
This role involves liaising with independent organizations or suppliers to provide technical and programmatic guidance on components, complex assemblies, and subsystems design, validation, and technology accrual plan outlining and execution.
The engineer will perform, with limited guidance, analysis and evaluation of third parties' deliverables compliance with product/program requirements and business standards, practices, and procedures.
Main responsibilities are:
To develop and document electronic and electrical components, complex assemblies, and subsystems requirements and designs relevant to electronic signal and control processing units and boards, based on complex electronics, for electrical power drives and engine actuation systems, engine sensors, and accessories. To carry out trade-off and performance analysis and validation studies aiming at drawing the optimal electronic assembly/sub-assembly architectural solutions and detailed designs. To support testing and validation activities, based on technology accrual and product development plans, of electrical components, complex assemblies, and subsystems, up to the final stages of the Control System integration, to assure compliance with operational, environmental (including EMI/L), and functional requirements. To liaise with the engineering team stakeholders in the execution of the project development, product definition, and technology maturation activities. To contribute to suppliers steering and performance monitoring to ensure overall Control System integration and compliance with intended functions. To contribute to the formulation and implementation of plans to achieve technical requirements and schedules commitments. To contribute to technical and program reviews.
