We are looking to recruit a new member of staff at the Marghera Office (VE, Italy) location as soon as possible:

Design Engineer Machinery & Piping PURPOSE: The Design Engineer Machinery & Piping will support the team in the revision of drawings, plans and technical specifications during the plan approval process and will keep track of the status of each project, ensuring that the Sr. Director is kept up to date on any potential issues.

MAIN TASKS: Support the Senior Director, Machinery & Piping and Director, Machinery & Piping in the revision of the drawings, plans and technical specification during the plan approval processSupport the Senior Director, Machinery & Piping and Director, Machinery & Piping during the project development, technical specification review and preparationFollow up open items from the plan approval process with the Yard representatives and attend meetings with the Yard technical office for open items discussion and resolutionReport to the Senior Director, Machinery & Piping and Director, Machinery & Piping with reference to the progress of the plan approval, status of the open items and potential main open issuesCooperate with the Vessel Operation team during the project development and plan approval periodTake part in the sea trialsSupport the Senior Director, Machinery & Piping and Director, Machinery & Piping during the Vessel delivery phaseEDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Confident using CAD/MicroStationExperience with Microsoft Office SuiteProficient in the English Language (B1 or above) and ItalianDemonstratable Team Working SkillsExcellent Communication SkillsOrganizational SkillsPlease provide your CV in English.
