The Design Office Assistant Intern will support the developing of all design activities for womenswear lines. He/she will also support presentations of the line to merchants and sales teams in adoption and proto reviews.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIESAssist the Woman Designer Team in the following daily activities:

Seasonal Woman designTrend searchResearch fabric and body styles and implement garment work sheetsMood boards and color cardsSketches and color rendering of the new styles according to the collection structureWork with all members of Design, Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design teams and collaborate in creating design proposals for areas neededSupport the design process from concept to completion while partnering with the Head of Designer to ensure alignment of priorities and directionRealization of technical sheets, graphics, seasons book, and drawingsSamples and production checks and fitting in officeExhibitions, fashion shows, technical presentations, and lookbookVisual team supportRequirementsBachelor Degree or Diploma in Fashion and/or Design ArtsStrong attitude and understanding of fashion product, style, and graphic trendsHighly creative with a clear understanding of the Guess Brand DNAMust possess the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines and design calendarTeam playerNatural good attitude interaction with all departments involved in the product processDynamic personality, fast thinker, positive attitudeStrong interpersonal and communication skillsGood knowledge of computer skills: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are mandatory, extensive computer experience in any other graphic program will be a plus.
