Design Responsible Engineer (Dre) Lubrication Systems

The Lubrication DRE is responsible for the design and development of the complete engine lubrication system, including oil pumps, oil coolers, filters, oil squirters, and all lubrication circuits with their pipes and canalizations. This role requires deep knowledge in mechanics, oil dynamics, thermodynamics, and materials. It also necessitates teamwork skills, collaborating with all departments involved in validation, and leadership for interaction with suppliers. Responsibilities Design responsible for engine lubrication systems. Manage 3D models and 2D drawings, releasing them in the company database system within agreed timelines. Lead interactions with suppliers, including technical reviews during sourcing activities and filling in scorecards to share ratings with the Chief Engineer. Guide design reviews with suppliers and other departments. Maintain direct links with reference personnel in Virtual Validation, Manufacturing, Testing, Labs, and Suppliers to finalize components according to standards and norms. Ensure packaging, performance, timing, and cost targets using appropriate solutions and processes. Responsible for DFMEA and DVP&R (Design Validation Plant & Reports) in collaboration with other technical powertrain functions and suppliers, and apply design norms and prepare SOR (Statement of Requirements). Lead expert for field issue root cause analysis and solution identification. Basic Qualifications: Degree in Engineering or extensive experience in engine design (minimum 3 years). Knowledge of combustion engine functionality, lubrication, oil dynamics, pumps, pipes, filters, coolers, thermal exchange, structural mechanics, and materials. Advanced component design and process knowledge. Proficiency in CAD usage (UG). Advanced knowledge of drawing dimensions (ASME, ISO) and tolerances. Good knowledge of design procedures and change management (KCDS, DFMEA, CRF, CRB, etc. ). Proficient in Office applications. Strong interpersonal communication and team/leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications: Deep knowledge of lubrication systems. Deep knowledge of engine combustion and functional parameters. Deep knowledge of fluid dynamics and manufacturing processes (casting, sintering, stamping, brazing, hydroforming, etc. ).
