MARINI, founded in Alfonsine in 1899, is a leading company in the production of plants for bituminous conglomerates.

Over the last decade, MARINI has made significant investments in the production sector, accentuating its peculiar characteristic as an industrial company, the result of a precise strategy aimed at guaranteeing the best quality through the construction within the company of the main and most important plant components.

With this in mind, MARINI is able to carry out all the main phases of the production process internally: from cutting and bending metal sheets, to the construction of components, assembly, sandblasting and painting surface treatments, construction and assembly of electrical equipment and electronics, software development, etc.

**Inserted in the Operations area, he will be responsible for**:

Draw up the product target costs of complex self-propelled machines by breaking down the BOMs by functional groups and assigning the target cost of the groups and individual components.

The activity will be completed only following the achievement of the target cost of the product in series production. Support the technical department in the design of the parts, suggesting the use of the most appropriate technologies for the consequent manufacturability of the parts themselves at the lowest cost. Calculate the costs of the components on the basis of the hypothesized volumes and the availability of technologies of the reference market. Support the purchasing department, giving the elements (cost break down assessments) for the main negotiations by product categories such as mainly metal carpentry, castings, plastics. Participate as project manager in the cost reduction team of the standard product, aimed at achieving greater company competitiveness.

The person will have to coordinate the multifunctional team (purchasing, technical office, production, after sales), and to make proposals and follow their consequent achievement. Support the drafting of standard costs and control of actual product costs. Promote the culture of target costs at all company levels.

**Preferential requirements**:Degree in mechanics. Experience of at least 3 years in a similar role, in international contexts and preferably in series production. Detailed knowledge of production and industrialization techniques in lean manufacturing contexts of complex machines. Knowledge of detailed manufacturing costs. Analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to relate to all company areas. Knowledge of written and spoken English. Familiarity with the use of ERP (SAP appreciated), Microsoft Office. Residence in the area.
