This is your chance: We are looking for an inspirational and energetic DESIGNER WOMENSWEAR Who is responsible for the delivery of any product creation requirements that LDJ requests, ranging from research, sketches, spec drawings etc. The designer may be asked to work on designs/renders ranging from knitwear to shoes. We are looking for someone who has experience in executing and researching embroideries, jersey, denim with a strong eye for colors and prints. They must be able to work and be responsible for deadlines and sticking to the critical path. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Research and Design parts of the collection they are given to work on. Responsible for making sure linesheets and boards are updated. Cooperate with fabric development and product team. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS 3-5 years of experience acquired within a Fashion/Luxury design team; Solid understanding and a work track record of both wholesale and eComm development cycles and critical paths is paramount. Strong knowledge of English and Italian is necessary. Proven competence of the Adobe Package and Microsoft; 3D is a nice to have; A good understanding of garment construction methods, finishing and printing techniques and manufacturing sewing operations. Needs to be flexible and versatile. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Excellent team player; Strong organizational skills to provide well documented products, thorough specifications, and meet deadlines. Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with suppliers and the management team. Proactive, dynamic and flexible.
