Position Overview

The Desktop Support Technician will ensure seamless IT services at Brescia site and across wider operations, some of which will involve global/corporate services. This position will focus on providing comprehensive deskside support to Brescia operations, including warehouse and production management systems. Additionally, the role extends to provide remote support for other European sites and users.

Position Responsibilities

- Support the maintenance and security of warehouse and manufacturing systems

- Provide support to warehouse and manufacturing end users, and remote users across Sweden and other European locations

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage IT asset inventory and build configuration for HPDI employees

- Work closely with HPDI IT globally to ensure standards and maintain a high level of security

Position Requirements

- 2+ years related IT experience

- Experience with warehouse and manufacturing systems preferred but not required

- IT certifications, diploma or combination of related education and experience

- Technical expertise in supporting Windows, MS Office 365,

- Demonstrated ability to plan, manage and track daily tasks and projects.

- Ability to identify, prioritize and escalate situations requiring urgent attention

- Works well under pressure in an environment with competing demands and tight deadlines

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment

- Excellent communication skills and works effectively with non-technical users

- ITIL experience and/or certification desired

- Fluent in Italian and good English proficiency
