Offer DescriptionThe research aims to study earnings management practices in the financial statements of companies and public administrations and to identify the most appropriate methodologies useful for their identification.

The research will examine the Italian context and, in particular, public and private sector unlisted firms.

The phenomenon will be examined separately with reference to these two types of companies with the aim of identifying similarities and differences of the phenomenon under examination, including the methods for measuring it, starting from the quantities that can be read in the respective financial statements.
