Offer Description The management of both primary and secondary osteoporosis is complex and very often requires a dedicated multi-specialist approach.

The clinic dedicated to bone metabolism and parathyroids of the Endocrinology and Prevention and Treatment of Diabetes IRCCS AOU of Bologna manages approximately 2100 patients/year, also through a company PDTA of patients with breast cancer (since 2015), with over 1000 patients.

Other patients followed by the Center include liver transplants, hyperparathyroidism, hypoparathyroidism, thalassemia, rare skeletal diseases, intestinal malabsorption due to chronic inflammatory pathology, and endocrine diseases with significant osteometabolic involvement.

Project Objective: Compare the management of the patient with primary osteoporosis to the management of the patient with secondary osteoporosis through the creation of a retrospective-prospective disease registry.
