EDB has a lot to do with that.

The EDB engineering team is growing and we're looking for a

**Development Manager** to join our 100% remote team.

We need a skilled and empathetic individual to help grow our team, in number, skills & experience.

You will focus your time on how to help the team be efficient, how to scale systems and processes as the team grows, distinguish areas of friction and help to smooth them over.

You will identify skills gaps on the team, and how to address them through training or hiring.

You will be responsible for guiding and project managing teams through new feature development.

**What You'll Be Responsible For

- Collaborate with engineering teams across the world, mentor, share information with and learn from other engineers and help drive continuous improvement of our platform, without losing focus on the flow that generates customers' value

- Identify & support training to expand the team's experience, in line with demands of the business

- New feature development and delivery

- Performance management of team members

- Bring an inquisitive, innovative & collegiate attitude to problem solving

- Manage hiring and onboarding new team members

**What You'll Need

- Experience in managing high performance, technical teams, including career growth of individuals

- Demonstrable track record of running, growing & optimizing multiple small to medium sized development teams, of diverse skill sets

- Ability to run project management activities, scoping, work breakdown, scrum etc.

- Proven performance management experience

- Be able to advocate for & speak on behalf of the team

- Good written and verbal communication
