Offer DescriptionThe project aims to develop an advanced optimization framework based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques for seismic retrofit of reinforced concrete buildings using structural materials derived from biological resources.

It will create a database of the mechanical and environmental properties of these materials, integrating metrics such as Global Warming Potential (GWP).

Parametric models will be implemented to simulate the structural behavior of buildings with retrofit interventions, considering sustainable and innovative solutions.

Multiobjective optimization algorithms will identify optimal configurations that minimize seismic risk and environmental impact.

The project includes validations with real case studies and numerical simulations.

Expected outcomes include the development of practical guidelines for sustainable retrofit and the creation of user-friendly software for practitioners and decision makers.
