Offer DescriptionThe Wire-and-Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) technology is a 3D metal printing process suitable for creating large-scale components without shape constraints.

This is achieved through the use of a continuous welding process (layer-by-layer) or a discrete process (dot-by-dot) and a numerically controlled robotic arm.

The objective of the proposed research project is to develop design and experimental activities to employ WAAM technology for the production of a new generation of highly efficient structural elements with reduced environmental impact.

The key aspects for the realization of this new category of high-efficiency structural elements are:
