Job Description: Call n. 27433 / 2024 - The President of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics announces a public selection procedure, based on CV and interview, to award n. 1 Senior Level 2 research grant for conducting scientific research at the INFN Structure of Milano on the following topic: "Development of superconducting cavities with high quality factor (HighQ) and high gradient (HighG) performance". The grant lasts 24 months and is renewable for a further 12 months.

Covers other costs: To promote the mobility of researchers, winners of the scientific research grant who have obtained the PhD in a Province or Metropolitan City Area other than that where their research grant is seated will receive an additional economic incentive.

Maximum duration of fellowship: 24 months

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must hold an Italian or equivalent PhD degree in Physics, Engineering, Material Science, Astronomy, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Mathematics obtained not earlier than 6 years before the call deadline.

Selection Process: The Evaluation Committee will grade each candidate with a maximum of 100 points, divided as follows:

30 points for the quality of the CV;70 points for the quality of the interview. The minimum grade required to pass the interview is 49 / 70, while to achieve a valuable ranking, the final evaluation must be above 70.
