We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join the Italian business development wind farms team in order to manage the projects in Italy and further develop SGREI's WFs portfolio.
**How to contribute to our vision
This role requires to develop relationships and convert business opportunities with local and/or national clients and developers, local authorities and public organizations.
The final goal is to achieve the permits (single authorization) and the ready to be built (RTB) of the wind farms and after, managing the sale of the project until the operation.
Ideally the person we are looking for comes from a business development/technical experience and specialized background in renewable energies, engineering, service and enjoys working towards achieving personal and team goals.
Highly communication skills are strongly required to achieve significant accomplishments such as permits, authorizations, agreements with landowners, decrees from local authorities, public organizations and furthermore to identify requirements and/or quickly solve critical situations.
This position requires strategic selling abilities, excellent active listening skills, business acumen and problem-solving capabilities to reach the business objectives and to build profitable, long-term relationships with our clients (both private and public sector).
Some other responsibilities are:
- Develop a solid pipeline of buying and selling opportunities.
- Manage existing projects and seeking activity for new opportunities.
- Collaborate remotely with team members to develop a winning sales strategy.
- Check and technical supervision of the projects according to the SREI holding's guidelines.
**What you need to make a difference
- Bachelors degree on Engineering.
- Knowledge of Renewable Energies Market.
Mandatory knowledge of both regional and national procedures and laws related to all the steps of the wind farm authorization process.
- Experience in technical IT tools.
- Mandatory experience and excellent skills in using Autocad for Wind Farm projects design.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development.
- Strong sense of autonomy and flexibility.
- Problem solving attitude.
- Ability to understand importance of relationship building.
- Strong interpersonal, strategic and tactical planning and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel as needed (also with short notice).
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Languages: Italian, English (Spanish knowledge will be considered a plus).
