MSC Technology Italy is the first division located in the national territory, complementing existing offices in Geneva (the Group's headquarters), Warren (New Jersey, USA), and Chennai (India).

In 2020, MSC Technology Italy was established as a technological division of MSC with the goal of creating a Center of Excellence to support the MSC Group's business.

DEVOPS ENGINEER The DevOps team works closely with the release and CI/CD manager in Geneva and collaborates with other members of the release and CI/CD team in Chennai, India, to support teams located in Switzerland, India, USA, and Italy.

His main goals will consist of enforcing release management and CI/CD best practices to improve the delivery quality, efficiency, and speed for MSC's IT project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Monitor and coordinate the implementation of release management best practicesMaintain release management documentation and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification listsManage release dependencies and coordinate work between different teams at different locationsManage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and qualityDevelop scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platformsAutomate processesManage CI/CD tools/platformsDevelop and maintain Pipeline configurationsQualification and Experience At least 2 years of release and/or project management experiencePowerShell or other scripting languagesManagement of infrastructure assets (network, servers, operating systems, DBs)Familiarity with software packing tools (. exe, . rpm, Docker)Good knowledge of version control tools (Git)Familiarity with coding analysis tools like SonarEnglish communication skills (oral and written)What we offer We offer a range of benefits including new learning opportunities, a comprehensive welfare system, life and health insurance, modern workstation, and discounts within the MSC group.
