DEVOPS ENGINEER
The DevOps team works closely with the release and CI CD manager in Geneva and collaborates with other members of the release and CI CD team in Chennai, India, to support teams located in Switzerland, India, USA and Italy. His main goals will consist of enforcing release management and CI CD best practices to improve the delivery quality, efficiency, and speed for MSC's IT project portfolio.
Key Responsabilities
Monitor and coordinate the implementation of release management best practices Maintains release management documentation and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists, etc Manage release dependencies and coordinate work between different teams at different locations Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms Automate processes Manage CI CD tools/platforms Develop and maintain Pipeline configurations
Qualification and Experience
At least 2 year of release and/or project management experience PowerShell or other scripting languages Microsoft AzureDevOps Management of infrastructure assets(network, servers, operating systems, DBs) Familiarity with software packing tools (. exe, . rpm, Docker) Good knowledge of version control tools (Git) Familiarity with coding analysis tools like Sonar English communication skills (oral and written)
