Devops Engineer - Fincantieri NexTech Location: Italy - Genova – Roma - Trieste

Job Description: We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our international team and play a key role in the development and implementation of our DevOps practices.

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for working with development, operations, and security teams to improve the speed, reliability, and security of our software delivery process.

Activities & Responsibilities: Implement and automate infrastructure as code using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet.

Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

Collaborate with development teams to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.

Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic.

Work with security teams to implement security best practices in the DevOps process.

Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in DevOps and cloud computing technologies.

Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.

Experience with infrastructure as code tools.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience with security best practices.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Experience with product management tools and methodologies (Scrum, Jira, Confluence).

Professional English.
