Our Digital IT department is seeking an IT Application Maintenance Specialist (AMS) with a strong background in SAP and/or Salesforce to manage application and technical support.
This role involves handling incidents, problems, and change requests related to our software.
As an AMS specialist, you will work within a team of three colleagues to diagnose problems, restore system functionality, or escalate issues to third-level support when necessary.
The AMS specialist is responsible for keeping users informed about the status of their issues and reporting when the service has been restored.
The AMS specialist handles user tickets to provide solutions, identifies the root cause of issues, and recommends measures to prevent recurrence.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities Incident Management: Diagnose and resolve issues to restore normal service operations as quickly as possible.
Problem Management: Identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend solutions to prevent future occurrences.
Change Management: Implement and manage changes to the IT environment, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
User Support: Keep users informed about the status of their issues and provide timely updates until resolution.
Collaboration: Work within a team of three colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating to third-level support when necessary.
Ticket Handling: Manage user tickets efficiently, ensuring all issues are logged, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek and implement solutions to reduce the number of user tickets by identifying trends and areas for improvement in the system.
The profile requires Soft Skills: Excellent team management skills.
Empathy with users, patience, and understanding.
Strong investigation and diagnostic skills.
Proactive approach.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Technical skills: Technological skills related to IT applications.
Basic SAP customizing skills.
Knowledge and experience with the S/4 HANA suite is valued.
Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing in both Italian and English.
Knowledge of main processes in manufacturing companies, particularly in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
Knowledge and experience with the Salesforce.com suite is valued.
Technological skills related to basic IT equipment.
