No Offer Description The conservation and consolidation of architectural heritage assets require technologies, materials, and methods capable of guaranteeing specific requirements.

FRCM fiber-reinforced composites in the form of reinforcing sheet-chains for the seismic protection of architectural assets offer high performance in terms of mechanics and durability.

However, their diffusion is limited by the lack of tools that support the selection and combination of components in the design of appropriate interventions for mechanical response, compatibility and sustainability.

The objective of DIAFRBC is the development of a semi-automated methodology that accompanies the identification of the mortar composition and the type of fiber network of a reinforcement system capable of guaranteeing a certain performance class.

The proposed methodology will be concretely calibrated on the case study of the UNESCO center in Florence, evaluating the reduction of seismic risk.
