Digital Communication Manager
The Digital Communication Manager builds and maximizes the FENDI brand presence in the digital field.
Reporting directly to WW Digital Director this position calls for a profile who can develop relevant digital communications strategies.
The role will directly lead a team of three people (Social Media Specialist, Digital Copywriter, Digital Content Specialist) in HQ and will collaborate daily with Digital Managers in the 7 Regional Offices worldwide.
She/He will work collaboratively with the Digital Department (Digital Paid Media, UX), and Omnichannel, as well as the FENDI Global Communication Team (Press, Celeb, Advertising), Marketing, Product and any relevant external agency and partner (Meta, TikTok, YouTube i. e.
).
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Develop strategic guidelines, content calendar planning, channel execution & regional cascade
- Attend buying campaign session to plan the digital communication calendar for each collection
- Edit the social calendar plan and constantly update it in alignment with Global Communication plans
- Brief and supervise digital content deliverables that work for multiple platforms (website, organic social and paid media), combining global and local needs
- Support the copywriter in developing a recognizable tone of voice, with adaptation on each social platform and digital touchpoint (website, social platform, newsletter, digital tools).
Establish a workflow with translation agency to ensure quality and on time publication
- Work with digital media, UX and omnichannel teams to improve the customer journey through different digital touchpoints
- Work with agencies and platforms to develop AR/VR and immersive experiences
- Lead optimization of existing social channels (ww and local) and launch new channels to target and grow new audiences with particular focus on Gen Z
- Develop livestream approach & drive best-in-class execution, in partnership with UX, digital paid media & regional teams to deliver engaging fashion show and brand events on digital channels
- Establish and maintain relationship with social platform teams to lead innovation in FENDI channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, )
- Protect and build reputation in community management
- Measure and KPI's and ROI of each project and report them weekly and monthly in a clear and actionable way to stakeholders and senior management
- Develop and grow the digital communication team
**Profile**:
- 5 -7 years related experience in digital communication
- Previous experience in luxury/fashion brands handling the diverse markets
- Data driven mindset
- Deep understanding and passionate of luxury/fashion business
- Highly organized with strong project management skills
- Ability to manage several priorities simultaneously
- Self-motivated, results oriented, performance driven and able to work under pressure on tight deadlines
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams
- Good team player with a positive outlook
- Right attitude to manage and grow team
- Strong communicator
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Flexibility: an understanding of social media nature (events of different time zones, fashion shows during weekends, sudden changes in editorial plan, risk crises management)
