Digital Content Creator
Overview:
**MISSION
Responding to the Digital Content and Social Media Coordinator, the Digital Content Creator ensures the ideation, production and dissemination of digital content on the organization's social media channels (posts, tweets, memes, reels, carousels, quizzes) with the goal of increasing online community awareness and engagement of MSF Italy's social media fans and followers.
Contributes to Digital storytelling projects and user activation through online Campaining.
Provides data monitoring to optimize performance.
**PURPOSES OF THE POSITION

**Responsibilities**:
**Main Accountabilities
- 1.
Design, produce, adapt and disseminate digital content for MSF Italy's social media channels in line with the Social Media Strategy_
- Ensures the design and production of new digital content for effective social storytelling on the organization's channels with information, awareness, and engagement objectives
- Contributes, through social media content, to change the narrative of the humanitarian sector, in the utmost protection of the people we assist, respecting the diversity of MSF staff of all backgrounds and countering racist and "white saviourist" stereotypes
- Adapts communication packages from MSF operations centers or other sections to the audiences of the Italian section
- Ensures the dissemination of content on social media channels (Meta, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube) according to the logic of digital first
- Actively collaborates with the other members of the Digital Content Team (Digital content and social media officer and Digital content and Audiovisual specialist) to contribute to the digital editorial plan and ensure its 100% implementation on MSF Italy's social media.
- Monitor trending topics to take advantage of opportunities for positioning MSF's issues.
- Be updated on all the news in the social media sphere (channels, formats and targets) and propose new ways of storytelling and new audiences for MSF Italy
- 2.
Devise and implement strategies to activate online community engagement_
- In collaboration with the other members of the Digital Content Team, ensures the production of digital content that can stimulate the interest of online communities on humanitarian issues and encourage the participation of fans and followers
- Fosters the production of user generated content in MSF's online community
- Transforms reports, statements, dossiers and articles into tweets, memes, quizzes and reels to make MSF ITALIA complaints and testimonies go viral
- Helps identify and establish relationships with social media influencers and content creators, in line with MSF's principles and the organization's influencer strategy.
- In collaboration with the Digital Content and Social Media Officer, fosters an in-depth conversation of fans and followers about humanitarian issues and MSF Italy's placements
- 3.
Contribute to Digital storytelling and Campaining projects_
- Contributes to telling and sharing on the organization's social media the values and principles of MSF Italy through specific Digital storytelling projects
- Contributes to build MSF Italy's online campaigns with different objectives (Awareness, Advocacy, Leads Generation, Fundraising) and to encourage the participation of fans, crowders and new audiences.

Activity analysis and monitoring (data driven)_
- Constantly monitors the Social Media Analysis/Insight platforms and data dashboards of the MSF Italy Communication Department that show the level of engagement and Sentiment of online communities
- Systematically monitors the growth of online communities to help increase online awareness and engagement
- Systematically analyzes social content and its performance in relation to goals to identify and propose data-driven optimizations
- Participates and contributes to the definition of Digital Unit and MSF Italy goals
Qualifications:
**REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree in Communications, Digital, or related field
- Excellent knowledge and use of major social networks (Meta, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube, TikTok, Instagram)
- Self-education and continuous updating on digital communication, multimedia and social media
- 5 years of working experience in Social Media Management (Meta, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube, TikTok, Instagram) and digital content production (posts, tweets, memes, Reels, carousels, quizzes, photos and videos)>> mandatory requirement
- Excellent creative, writing and visual communication skills
- Good knowledge of image management tools, video editing and graphics (Canva, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator) - added value
- Good experience in managing paid social media campaigns
