**About the job

The role implies the following activities and tasks:

- Design of Digital platform and circuits based on chipset of FPGA, ADC/DAC, ASIC and Processors.

Space-level documentation (e. g.

worst-case analysis, part stress analysis) according to internal QMS rules and applicable standards.

- Simulation and circuit analysis using relevant State-of-art simulation tools

- Architecture design of complex HW system and equipments

- Specification and validation of digital design using VHDL.

- Definition and follow-on of digital units development and validation plans.

- Validation of digital solution at prototype-level using advanced Laboratory Instrumentation (e. g.

High-speed Oscilloscope, Logical Analyser, Spectrum Analyzer).

- Supervision of validation and support to Flight Equipment integration, debugging and test of the developed solutions.

- Participation to bids with understanding and discussion of requirements, trade off and fast evaluation of different possible solutions; finalization of pre-design to allow the team to make the quotation.

Support to Risk analysis and evaluation.

- Interfacing the customer and suppliers and collaboration with other Thales Alenia Space departments including project leaders, product lines, industrial engineering, manufacturing and marketing & sales

**About You

Education and experience

You have a Master Degree in Electrical or Telecommunication Engineering.

You have sounding knowledge on microelectronics cards/components and measurements.

You are proficient in digital signal processing and complex HW equipment architecture design.

You are fluent in English both listening and reading.

You have at least 10 years of experience in similar role.

Skills and knowledge

You have a demonstrable knowledge of:

- and simulation

- Matlab / Simulink programming

- VHDL design

- Laboratory experience

- Experience in design team coordination

- Digital and Mixed-signal PCB design will be considered an asset.
