Mission The ideal candidate will manage international R&D projects focused on energy digital innovation. Key Accountabilities Manage or support the management of EU R&D projects in the field of power generation (renewable energy and its integration in new sectors), decarbonization & energy transition, power grid development Contribute to RINA's activities of technical development in the framework of EU funded projects while interacting with international partners Deliver reports and results for European research and innovation projects involving energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies, and the smart grid Assist in the creation of new opportunities and preparation of proposals for European and international R&D programmes Support the growth of RINA's network of R&D partners in the field of power generation and distribution Contribute to the development of digital tools that provide consulting and engineering services Qualifications Degree in engineering or computer science with a focus on energy is a plus Fluent in English and Italian Excellent verbal and written reporting skills Ability to conduct research, organize work, and produce results Open-minded to innovation and creativity Effective decision-making skills - structure activities according to priorities, actions, resources, and constraints Ability to see the big picture and reinterpret situations from different perspectives Emotional intelligence - recognize and manage one's and others' emotions Client intimacy - understand and meet internal and external client needs and expectations Build trust - consider diverse opinions and remain open to different perspectives Promote sustainable development - model commitment by keeping promises Think forward - leverage experiences into actionable future plans Pioneer change - embrace and benefit from new circumstances Build networks - establish trust relationships across departments and with external partners With over 5, 600 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries, RINA is a multinational player providing certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision, vendor inspection, training, and engineering consultancy services across various sectors.
