Digital Learning Intern
Job Title: Digital Learning Intern Location: Cantù (CO) The Digital Learning Intern is an internship that takes place in the Education area, within the Digital Learning Team.
For some years now, BLM GROUP has been focusing on the opportunities for applying artificial intelligence in all business processes, from Operations to improve Supply Chain flow, to R&D, to increase technological potential. Even in HR processes, we perceive possible potential from the use of artificial intelligence, particularly in the area of Training/Education. We wish to explore ways and criteria in this area that will enable us to continue innovating.
With the support of experienced colleagues and reference partners for the LMS platform adopted by BLM GROUP, the trainee will be able to learn more about:
the structure of the platform, the training objects in it, which are strongly related to the BLM GROUP's target industry and the markets in which it is presented, and the target users (recipients) to whom the platform is addressed. The intern will be expected to delve into the state of the art of the use of artificial intelligence within Learning Management systems, with specific focus on CSOD's LMS and the Articulate authoring tool, adopted by BLM GROUP for the creation of asynchronous multimedia training objects (e-learning).
The internship will aim to identify ways of using artificial intelligence to be combined with BLM GROUP's training processes through the LMS platform and, if possible, strengthening or enhancing the e-learning objects that the platform proposes to its users.
Tools acquired/used: Cornerstone LMS - 4U, Articulate Storyline 360; MS Office suite; e-mail and internet.
Topics explored in depth during the internship alongside experienced colleagues: In-depth study of the structure and functionality of the LMS platform used by BLM GROUP (CSOD - 4U); Study of LOs in e-learning mode (i. e. , online and asynchronous courses) available today in the LMS platform (4U); Analysis of the characteristics of e-learning courses available in BLM GROUP in terms of user experience, comparing them with others on the market, in order to improve their level of engagement, usability, usefulness, including through the integration of interactive and gamification modes; Study of the potentialities of artificial intelligence promoted by CSOD (in their Success Center) and verification of the possibilities of application in 4U, through the development of the available functionalities; Studying the potential of artificial intelligence combined with e-learning courses supported by LMS platforms, and in particular applied in 4U (Pilot and Stage environments of 4U available to support testing and example cases). Note: The trainee will be expected to operate within the workplace with the utmost respect for the rules established to ensure Safety and Health, their own and others', and to ensure optimal functioning of the work environment.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education Science, Communication Design, and equivalent pathways of study in progress; Good knowledge of Office365 package; Knowledge of visual design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Paint, etc. ); Knowledge of English language level B2; Interest in multimedia content design and development using dedicated SW; Interest in industrial automation; Knowledge of major communication methodologies.
