Digital Printing Engineer
EFI is looking for a Digital Printing Forensic Engineer with Digital Printing experience to join our Demo Center in Bergamo, Italy.
Responsibilities: - Under the supervision of our manager, you will be responsible for working directly with digital Textile Printing Heads on many different Printer platforms.
- Printing on digital Textile machines, for showing them to the customers - Analyzing and recovering digital printing head failures.
- Catalog malfunctions and compiling statistics, for improving heads' behavior.
- Producing Head Failure Reports.
- Testing heads behavior with different inks and different machines.
- Troubleshooting printing heads batch quality.
- Analyze customer printing issues, simulating them in the Lab.
- Managing textile digital printing machines and laboratory equipment.
- Travel opportunities may be available, sometimes, for supporting customers.
Job Requirements: - Positive Attitude and problem-solving approach.
- An open-minded and customer-oriented approach.
- Communication skills.
- Time management and self-scheduling skills to accomplish tasks.
- Able to record results clearly and report out.
- Able to work individually and within a team environment.
- Ability to keep a clean work area that is well organized.
- Familiar with the Textile Printing industry and Ink Jet experienceis preferred.
- Technical degree and 3 years field related experience is preferred.
- Italian and English knowledge.
