Within the companys Digital Transformation Armani Group has undertaken an innovation path that leads to the complete review of their technical solutions supporting the creation, enrichment, tracing, delivery of product information (Fashion & Luxury, Food & Beverage, Home Furniture) in an end-to-end mode throughout the entire product lifecycle (from Product Development to After Sales).

All the product digital and master data are key for the overall Digital and Phygital transformation and adoption of leading-edge solutions & technologies.

Focus areas are represented by:

- Sustainability

- Authenticity

- Traceability

- 3D (products and printing)

- Digital Assets

- Product Digital ID

- RF-ID

- Digital Twin & Metaverse

Processed are supported by the following systems that generate digital information:

- PLM

- PIM

- DAM

- RF based systems

And the business solution systems consuming the Digital information such as (but not limited to):

- Digital Show Room

- e-commerce (website & marketplaces)

- Clientelling (in store app)

- Consumer app

- Digital Catalogue

- Reporting & Advanced Analytics

The approach to this critical part of Armani Technology is moving towards a product-based Operating Model & Organisation for these specific topics, while the overall transition is structured in a step-by-step mode adopting a hybrid Operating Model.

The working approach is foreseen to be in service design Importante Azienda using the Service Blueprint concept and deliverables.

The DPAC will also be accountable for the Digital Catalogue distribution.

The DPAC will partner with several business departments such as (but not limited to):

- Product Development

- Merchandising

- Photo Studio & Artistic Department

- Digital Business

- Sales Campaign Management

- Retail

- Communication & PR

- Creative Department

- Industrial Innovation

The DPAC will partner with the entire professional family, in particular with other Corporate teams such as:

- Manufacturing

- Retail

- Omni-channel

- Wholesale

- Client Engagement

- Data Strategy & Analytics

- Enterprise Architecture

- Regional units

In particular, the DPAC will partner with Enterprise Architecture and Data Strategy & Analytics to define the Digital Data Solutions ecosystem and the related integration strategy in order to feed the Data Lake.

The DPAC will manage a team of talented solution specialists that the DPAC will be in charge of leading, managing, mentoring and growing.

The team will support the DPAC in the definition, implementation, enhancement, support and maintenance of the adopted solutions.
