**What you will do
The Digital Service Technical Trainer will be inspiring and influential and have strong technical expertise.
This role will be responsible for all aspects of the learning cycle, from understanding the audience needs to delivery of accessible, useful, relevant content to drive growth.
This role will be critical in the building of service technical skills, supporting teams to understand the value our new solutions can offer customers to achieve business outcomes, such as, energy efficiencies, decarbonization targets and safe places to work.
This role will support technical teams to generate new customer relationships & offer more value to existing customers.
It includes working with the business teams to analyze assessments and reports to provide feedback to leadership.
The person in this role will build a continuum of learning and skill building for the technical organization, across multiple geographies & businesses.
**How you will do it
- Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders within each of the stakeholder departments, including Management and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Identify, assess, and analyze business requirements and training gaps to design effective learning solutions
- Build and monitor training roadmap for commercial roles with regional businesses
- In partnership with Global L&D, Curate, Create, & Deliver accessible, relevant, useful training content for technical and operational teams, to deliver improved customer experience and drive growth
- Follow the JCI design approach to provide blended learning solutions for the technical teams that can be easily updated and repurposed to stay current with product and process changes
- Execute on learning solutions that impact large scale change in skill or behavior to sales professionals in multiple business regions
- Project manage the training programs end-to-end while interfacing with internal and external partners to achieve program objectives
**What we look for
**Required
- 5-7 years in Technical Training, Engineering and/or Products and/or Digital service role.
- Previous Operations training experience preferred
- 4+ years in Training Development and Delivery
- Willingness to learn new connected & digital technologies to offer drive the digital service business
**Preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC, Fire, and Security equipment and related technologies, products and market
- Ability to travel up to 50% (usually less)
- Preferred systems experience should include, MS Office Suite, NetMeeting, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, SnagIt, Captivate, Flash, DreamWeaver, Articulate
- Bachelor's degree in business or education
