No Offer Description The scientific activity will be oriented toward the design, development, and testing of high-fidelity integrated simulators (model-based/data-driven with hardware-in-the-loop) for the design, analysis, and validation of spacecraft, with application to miniaturized platforms (e. g. , CubeSats) in deep space and in close proximity with both planets and minor bodies. Potential target applications include: High-precision orbit design/analysis/maintenance for Earth- and interplanetary trajectories; Guidance, navigation, and control systems for Moon-based applications and transfer of technology to other planets; Hardware-in-the-loop simulators for verification of autonomous technologies, including navigation sensors and guidance and control algorithms; Simulators with hardware-in-the-loop for design/verification of autonomous systems.
