We are looking for a 6 months temporary Buyer to our Purchasing Product Line team to handle some chemical categories across Europe.

In this role, you will deal with European Suppliers and New Product Introduction processes for Purchasing Food Preservation Product Line.

**Tasks**:

- Global Category ownership for the Business Area, Managing the business strategically

- Manage relationships / partnerships with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders, leading internal and external analysis (industry & supplier) as a member of a cross-functional sourcing team

- Support the development budgets plans for the Business Area identifying opportunities and risks

- Generate initiatives and projects to deliver productivity targets

- Participate, prepare, and support RFQ and other strategic sourcing activities

- Support Program Management on new model Launches and platform refresh programs

- Address / support resolution to supplier driven performance issues

**Qualifications**:

- University degree (Engineer or Economics) or similar

- Minimum 1 year working with Direct Material Purchasing

- Knowledge in strategic sourcing methodology and purchasing environment for the commodities managed

- Experience preferable with chemical categories

- Required languages: Fluent English written and spoken

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Some travel will be required
