Join us and help us build The DNA of tech. Position: Analog Design DirectorVishay Italy is currently seeking applicants for the position of Analog Design Director to manage an experienced design team involved in the development of integrated circuits at the heart of modern power systems.

The successful candidate will be exposed to the entire product lifecycle from definition and requirements through IC design to silicon support. This role has a critical impact on the business development of the organization. Job Location: The VISHAY IC Design Team located in Northern Italy will define, design, and bring to production complex analog & mixed power management ICs for High Performance Computing systems. What you will be doing:Development of IC architectures for Switching Regulators, DC/DC controllers, Power Stages, Smart Power Switches, and other analog products. Verification of design at block-level, IC level, and system level. Specification and design of analog & mixed-signal sub-systems. Define schedule and oversee execution in the whole product development cycle. Lead the team during periodic design reviews. Maintenance of engineering documents in accordance with quality processes. Structured tracking and implementation of design improvements. Support for test-engineering, product engineering, and operations, and participation in ATE data reviews, limit reviews, and device yield analysis. What you will bring along:M. S.

in Electrical Engineering or higher qualification. 20+ years of circuit design experience in Power Management ICs and Switching Regulator ICs. Mastery of power conversion topologies and underlying concepts. Modeling (system-verilog, verilogams) and generating specifications and validation criteria for DC-DC converter systems and sub-systems. Good understanding of ESD and Latchup robust design. Experience with CMOS/BiCMOS/BCD Process Technologies and vertical technologies for discrete MOSFETs. Familiarity with packaging technologies and performance implications. Hands-on test and characterization of ICs, review of test results, and support to System Application Engineering, Test Engineering, and Product Engineering. Self-motivated individual contributor with strong problem-solving skills. Experience working in wide-ranging roles and flexible environments. Proven record of product development from definition to release to production. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
