We are currently looking to recruit a Director, Bids & Tenders for the EMEA region.

This position is also based in EMEA (IE, UK, FR, IT, BE, DE). You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following.

**Essential Functions & Responsibilities

- Lead the EMEA Contracting & Pricing team of 20+ employees and be part of the International Center of Excellence

- Ownership and continuous improvement in the areas of offer and quote management, tendering, pricing, master data and analytics & reporting.

- Lead the EMEA tender and pricing activities in collaboration with the local C&P teams and partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, QRA, Legal, Compliance, Customer Service and the wider business, driving value added content on each submission.

- Develop and implement best practice strategies and tools across markets to improve performance in all phases of the tender lifecycle - to source, apply, submit, implement and post award - with the aim to make the tender process more efficient and accelerate successful awards.

- Create and maintain a variety of metrics/KPIs aligned with evolving pricing and contract strategy as well as changing market conditions, to ensure the optimal operation of the business.

- Develops and maintains internal controls over the pricing implementation activities, continuously looking for performance improvements.

- Collaborate with Master Data and related teams to continue to enhance customer master data quality to achieve best-in-class customer experience

- Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to drive change and process standardizations

**Qualifications & Experience

- Education: University/Applied Sciences University degree required

- Language skills: fluency in English is a must (both oral and written); fluency in either German, Spanish, Italian or French is considered a plus

- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

- Knowledge and experience in Sales working with Commercial leaders and customers.

- Strong people and matrix management skills and experience

- Highly analytical with the ability to assess financial implications, including pricing analysis, profitability analytics.

Ability to perform analytics and create analytical tools.

- Great communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work with others

- Understanding of healthcare tender and supply contracting in European market.

- Must be comfortable working with internal and external customers to further develop and execute the tender and pricing process across EMEA

- Experience delivering complex initiatives across multiple countries

- Demonstrated top performance and results orientation

- Self-starter with ability to drive projects with ambiguity and mínimal directions
