Director Business Analytics & Insights, Italy
Role summary
The BAI Director Italy Lead will partner with the local commercial teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality strategic business decision support.
As a member of the Business Analytics & Insights organization, this colleague will partner with Commercial Finance, Digital COEs, Chief Business Officer COEs and other analytics functions as necessary to ensure all resources are fully and appropriately leveraged to deliver robust solutions to business issues.
He/she will be also accountable for continuous improvement and utilisation of new capabilities to maximise the competitive advantages of the business in Italy and scaling approaches across EU5.
The incumbent will: drive adoption and implementation of data science technics in the country as well as establishing Launch Excellence Analytics Platforms (LEAP) consistently across EU5.
The person in this role will be a proactive business partner with country or multi-country leadership team.
He/she will develop and deliver the analytics and insights plan to support the adaptation of global strategies and tactics for the local market.
This will include performance measurement, customer analytics, customer journey development, customer data mining and market research, as needed to uncover insights.
Role responsibilities
- Lead analytical insights support to the market and recommend, define and implement unique and innovative business analytics plans that generate insights and influence business priorities and objectives.
Provide thought leadership to country president and senior executive on data driven Pfizer's strategic decision making
- Key partner to support GTM BM transformation through advanced analytics to support country reorientation and move to data driven analysis across the country
- Lead Pod working approach for Bold Move local transformation through Advanced Analytics projects for commercial and medical projects as well as performance tracking of GTM transformation through actionable Insights
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the most effective and advanced analytic methods and capabilities (e. g. , customer journey mapping, machine learning, predictive analytics etc.
), leveraging Centers of Excellence to ensure that the most effective and efficient techniques are leveraged to execute the analytic plans.
- Work with the EU5 Lead to define key performance measures and benchmarks and develop methods for launch tracking.
Develop Launch monitoring capabilities across EU5 based on country experience (LEAP).
- Frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related to the identification and evaluation of commercial strategies and tactics
- Conduct primary market research, secondary analytics and advanced analytics to answer business questions in full respect of compliance with innovative & efficient approaches.
- Ensure effective performance measurement and deliver regular assessments of portfolio performance to leadership.
Ensure accuracy of the reports and clear articulation of the data and its meaning for the business.
- Manage a team of 2 to 5 direct reports.
