Our Global Clinical Research team, who powers our PPD® clinical research portfolio, is our leading global contract research organization (CRO).
We provide comprehensive, integrated drug development, laboratory and lifecycle management services.
Our customers include pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, academic and government organizations.
This role is dedicated within our Clinical Development Services Division (CDSD); more specifically, supporting two therapeutic units and a function within Project Delivery, a team of over 5, 500 global colleagues that are enthusiastic about the work they do and the impact they have.
**How will you make an impact?
As Director, Human Resources, you will partner with leaders across two therapeutic units and a global function to provide forward-thinking strategic partnerships, including coaching, organizational optimization, and change management.
With the expertise to build organizational capabilities, you will enhance our goals of hiring, engaging, and developing top industry talent, with a heightened focus in the EMEA and APAC markets/locations, inclusive of strategic growth locations and emerging markets.
This role can be remote within Europe, but will provide support globally.
**What will you do?
Talent Mindset - Promote forward-thinking talent management plans which align with our business goals of attracting, retaining and developing diverse, engaged talent.
Provide leadership coaching, performance management support and high potential identification to create top performance teams.
Business Acumen and Data Insight - Use HR analytics to improve talent and business capabilities and influence positive culture change.
Build a solid understanding of industry, market, and functional trends to craft business-specific talent strategies driven by data insights.
Consultation - Facilitate and support evolving organizational needs to drive effectiveness through talent, capabilities and culture.
Guides and directs organizational design, development and change management solutions.
Change Leadership - Promote change by leading/supporting organizational design, development, and culture initiatives built upon our 4i values (Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement).
Provide creative solutions to complex global business challenges by combining unique ideas, technologies, and approaches.
Organizational Adaptability and Resolve - Confer with our Centers of Excellence (COE's) in Talent Management, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Shared Services and Analytics & Diversity to achieve successful program objectives.
**How will you get here?
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree or local equivalent, in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field required, advanced degree preferred.
**Experience**:
- 8+years of comprehensive HR experience; successful leadership and management in a business partner role supporting executives.
- Proven success in implementing organizational design initiatives, business and change programs and processes that yield positive results.
- Experience working with global teams in a fast-paced, heavily matrixed, and diverse environment.
- Exposure to Process Improvement approaches and ability to implement.
- Strong consultative style with experience supporting senior executives.
Ability to influence and lead others.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Knowledge of modern practices in the administration of HR policies.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Project management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and act with tact and emotional intelligence.
- Consultative skills and ability to influence at all levels.
- Skilled in developing professional relationships with leadership and peers.
- Ability to travel up to 10-20% of time as needed.
