She/he will ensure that the hotel operates within all related local and corporate policies and procedures and under the terms of the Management Agreement.

Key expectations of this role: Responsible for assessing the financial performance of the Hotel as well as possible risks and investments.

Overseeing all accounting and finance aspects of the hotel including month-end procedures, accounts receivable, cost control, income audit, cashiering, accounts payable, and general ledger in accordance with Rosewood's policies & procedures.

Continuously identifying and developing areas for business improvement and motivating key stakeholders to actively engage in the process through analysis & planning.

Acting as a coach and mentor to the Finance team by providing guidance and support in maintaining high performance and engagement.

Showing a sound understanding of the hotel operation paired with expert finance knowledge to provide valuable insights to support the leadership team in achieving maximum profitability in their areas of responsibility.

Lead performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.

Verify fixed assets are purchased according to the capital expenditure budget, amounts are properly recorded, and the fixed assets ledger is completed.

Required qualifications: 3-5 years of professional experience at a similar position preferably in the Hospitality Industry.

Proven experience managing various stakeholders, including external partners and owners.

Solid experience managing & motivating large teams and driving change applying transformational leadership.

Strong financial analysis skills, with proven records managing complex budgets and forecasts.

Excellent knowledge of the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI).

Perfect knowledge of Hyperion Program and Smart View Tool for reporting, budgeting, forecast, etc.

Excellent communication skills in both English & Italian.

Will be an advantage: Experience with Payroll productivity management.

Well versed in SUN System (Accounting System), Birchstreet, Opera, Simphony.
