Director of Sales (Food Service Sales) Location: outside of Philadelphia, PA Salary: $130, 000 - $160, 000 + up to 20% Bonus + Profit Sharing Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability & Life Insurance, 401k w/match, PTO, Holidays Job Type: Full-Time Typical Hours: Mon-Fri; 45-50 hrs/wk.
Flexible Travel: up to 60% locally (day trips only) Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship is not available Director of Sales (Food Service Sales) Description Our client in the food distribution industry is looking for a Director of Sales to add to their team outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a sales team of ten by developing and implementing data-driven strategies to achieve revenue targets and long-term business objectives.
This role requires a hands-on leader comfortable leveraging technology, holding their team to specific KPIs, and driving continuous improvement through analytics and innovation.

Director of Sales (Food Service Sales) Responsibilities • Lead and mentor sales team to consistently meet or exceed KPIs• Develop annual sales, gross profit, and case budgets• Set annual and monthly sales objectives aligned with the company's business plan• Promote a data-driven sales culture by utilizing analytics to measure effectiveness• Foster a culture of accountability, career development, and high performance• Recruit, hire, and train top-performing sales staff• Conduct regular performance evaluations• Manage key client accounts directly• Collaborate with finance to manage budget and P&L for all sales functions
Director of Sales (Food Service Sales) Qualifications • 5+ years of senior-level sales management in the food service or distribution industry required• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams of 5 or more. • Hands-on experience overseeing sales budgets and profit and loss (P&L) statements is essential. • Demonstrated expertise in establishing KPIs, setting sales goals, and developing effective strategies. • Must be willing to travel locally up to 60%.
