Director, Product Operations

Description and Requirements The Director of Product Operations will be an instrumental player of the PCSD Business Group within the IDG COO Organization. This role will be responsible for working closely with GSC, segments, Geo's and product business units to optimize our portfolio and reduce complexity and duplication with a special focus on long tail management. This role is a true partnership and extension of many teams across the Geos and BUs, regardless of direct reporting line. Key Responsibilities: Establish cadence with GSC and procurement on pain points and quantify benefits for complexity reduction for in-market products. Scan data for opportunities to reduce duplication and complexity on current gen and n-x products. Create BMS and project structure to review data and make decisions. Communicate project status updates to key stakeholders (Geo's, GSC, procurement, segment product and PO teams), executives, and team members, ensuring alignment and addressing concerns. Align on special projects and assist with aligning portfolio transition strategies. Participate in gate process and be the focal point for PCSD COO organization. Build and develop good relationships across all levels of the company to be able to collect timely and accurate information, and drive change. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role. Proven record of successfully leading or being a part of cross functional teams. People management experience with excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Results oriented with strong attention to detail.
