As a Dispatcher/Back-office you will
- Schedule and Assign Engineers: you are responsible for coordinating and assigning onsite engineers to various customer service requests or projects.
This involves understanding the skills and availability of the engineers and matching them with the appropriate tasks.
- Interact with Customer: you would be the primary point of contact for customers who require onsite technical support.
You will communicate with them to gather information about the situation, assess the urgency, and provide them with an estimated time of arrival for the engineer.
- Prioritize and Triage Requests: You will need to assess the urgency and severity of each customer request (SLA) and prioritize them accordingly.
Coordinate Logistics: you will be responsible for organizing the logistics associated with onsite visits.
Make sure parts are available and can be picked or delivered to the engineer.
- Monitor and Track Progress: Throughout the process, you will need to monitor the progress of ongoing tasks and track the status of each request.
This involves regularly communicating with engineers to ensure they are on track and updating customers on the progress.
- Document and Report: maintaining accurate records of customer requests, engineer assignments, and service activities is crucial.
You will need to document relevant information, update databases or ticketing systems, and generate reports on service performance.
- Support Backoffice: you will handle data collecting and validating, prepare Excel based reports and raw data analysis, create proposals for special requests, review and update internal documentation, provide support support to Service Delivery Manager and Team Lead with ad hoc tasks.
As an IT Support Technician you will
- solve IT issues remotely and onsite at customers' site, dealing with HW repair and basic SW troubleshooting.
- provide HW/SW assistance to multinational companies travelling in Milan area when needed.
