WHY YOU SHOULD JOINTE Connectivity has an exciting opportunity to join our team as our Distribution Sales Manager within the Global Application Tooling Division (GATD) business unit covering South Asia, MENA, and Europe. In order to best support the distribution strategy for the entire region, ideally will be based in a central location within the region to effectively manage distribution strategy, with flexibility for the right candidate. The successful candidate will have the responsibility of managing the distribution channel and overall day-to-day business relationship between TE and strategic key distributors, collaborating with other TE BU's, and aligning with overall Channel BU market focus. Accordingly, candidates should possess a strong Automotive/Transportation, Appliances, Industrial, and Mil-Aero background; Electrical/Energy experience is also extremely beneficial.
YOUR MAIN TASKSProvide training and product awareness to key distributors and TE business unit colleaguesCreative development and implementation of programs and methods for increasing TE's marketRegular meetings with distribution partners, TE Channel and other BU field service, sales, and marketing team colleaguesWork closely with TE's MENA, South Asia, and Europe sales teams to maximize growth opportunitiesCross-BU collaboration to identify marketing strategies for TE solution selling and to effectively promote new and existing products with TE's strategic key distributorsCollect and evaluate market information and competitive intelligenceWork closely with Product Managers and Marketing to develop and implement pricing strategiesParticipate in trade/product shows, seminars, industry trade organizations, district and regional sales meetings in order to identify opportunities for application tooling to support new and existing technologiesYOUR IDEAL BACKGROUND8+ years in Sales, Marketing, or Technical management is preferred. Bachelors degree in technical field preferredProven skills in developing/implementing strategies in support of market segments, customers and products consistent with the overall business planExcellent interpersonal, written, presentation and communication skillsAbility to influence the decision-making process of indirect reports and stakeholdersStrong project management and negotiation skillsComputer proficient including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP, SalesForce, Power BI, and MS TeamsMulti-lingual skills including fluent English.
