**Position purpose**:
The objective of this position is to collaborate closely with Market/Cluster EXCOM and D&IT Teams to develop and communicate a joint business value roadmap and stimulate and shape business demand.
In this role, you'll act as the primary contact for all D&IT services for the markets in the cluster, emphasizing value-driven solutions to enhance business performance.
**What will you do - responsibilities**:
**Business Relationship Management**:
- The Business Relationship Management area entails developing and executing the D&IT strategy to align with the Cluster or Market's objectives.
This involves collaborating with senior business management teams to understand their plans and building a joint business value roadmap.
Emphasis is placed on prioritizing value over solutions, anticipating strategic changes, and fostering innovation.
- The role includes educating partners on the BRM Mindset, advising on technology options, and driving innovation to achieve future growth and profitability aligned with the organization's vision.
**Capability Management**:
- Accountable for overseeing a geographically distributed team responsible for supporting various business functions within the region, such as Sales Systems for M&S and Local ERP for Finance.
- The incumbent will engage with Market/Cluster D&IT Leads and the regional D&IT management team to communicate progress and align with capacity management.
**People Leadership**:
- Additionally, this role entails people leadership responsibilities, including managing career development, fostering the company's vision and values, and ensuring alignment with People & Culture best practices.
They are also responsible for hiring and terminating IT contractors and maintaining communication with the D&IT regional team to ensure appropriate resource allocation.
**D&IT Governance**:
- Full ownership of respective IT budgets in Cluster/Market.
Responsible for planning of the AP/SP and LE processes and delivering financial commitments with clarity on how the budget is used to run existing services, the cost of transformation/change, and efficiency gained by the changes.
Optimize, control, and reduce costs when possible to improve Cluster/Market efficiency and profitability
- You will be responsible for planning, resource allocation, and priority setting in line with Business requirements and IT Strategies across the Cluster/Market
**Security, Business Continuity & Compliance**:
- The Cluster D&IT lead is the main single point of contact for all IT-related services and has full accountability for IT DRP as part of the Business Continuity Plan, Application Governance, J-Sox, and Audit review.
The Cluster IT lead ensures adequate security and authorization concerning the use of hardware, software, and data for optimal use and to safeguard continuity, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Ensures business continuity by supervising the IT Disaster Recovery procedures and documentation.
Fully supports the Cluster and global Legal teams with data investigations and chain of evidence process.
**Service Delivery Management**:
- The Cluster IT Lead ensures the company's business community is provided with appropriate support and training/development in business systems, software, and hardware to make effective and efficient usage of systems and resources and enable users to achieve business goals.
These solutions may be internally or externally provided.
**Who are we looking for - requirements**:
- 8+ years' experience in the IT discipline with 5+ years of those years in IT management
- University Degree in Computer or Technical Science or strong IT background (additional business education is a plus).
- Proven leadership skills with business acumen to build strong business relationships at various levels of the organization, and with a rich coaching background.
- Strategic insight and excellent knowledge of business and related processes in areas such as P&C, Legal, Finance, GSC, Leaf, SRA areas, and M&S (according to Cluster/Market environment).
- Proven project management skills, people management skills, and IT performance management.
- Good financial and budgetary understanding.
- Experience in the roll-out of digital solutions to support customer and consumer journey (E-commerce solutions, CRM, etc).
- Ability to drive for win-win solutions, articulate thoughts and to motivate disparate parties to work toward a common goal.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, Italian seen as a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, outstanding analytical skills, and ability to innovate and think outside the box.
- Able to deliver within tight deadlines and with limited resources.
- FMCG experience will be a plus.
