What you will do

- He/She follows the new product from the concept design phase to the production launch

- He/She implements the Commodity Strategies ensuring the consistency of the choices of the project team)

- He/She Update DPPL on the progress of the projects and report any critical issues

- He/She keep the costs of the new components updated and report the outcome of the negotiations

- He/She keeps the list of any new suppliers to be qualified updated

- He/She coordinates and verifies that all planned activities (requests for offers, qualification, samples, orders, etc. )

are carried out by the functions in charge

- He/She manages the development of the new models on the purchasing side by interfacing with the various buyers

What you need to succeed

Must Have

- 2/4 years' experience in a Procurement Department preferably in contact with the R&D function and Product Development

- Degree in engineering

- Fluent English Spoken and written

- Good communication skills

- Experience in working with cross functional teams (international);

- Familiarity with the main IT tools

- Problem solving and result orientation

Nice to have

- SAP knowledge

- Experience in the home appliances sector
