Originally a 13th-century monastery, with architectural elements still visible today, the five-star luxury rated Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel is a fine example of a sympathetically refurbished monument. It scores just as highly when it comes to location. It's perched on top of an 80-meter cliff, with spectacular views of the Amalfi coast. But it's also only 5 minutes' walk from Amalfi's harbor and town center.
Completely renovated in 2023, almost all of our 52 rooms look directly out to sea. The hotel has 2 first-class restaurants: the main restaurant, Dei Cappuccini, serves an Italian and Mediterranean inspired menu made up of gourmet dishes and The La Locanda della Canonica - Pizzeria by Gino the perfect choice for an informal lunch in a suggestive setting, enjoying tasting pizzas created by the famous, Neapolitan, pizza-master Gino Sorbillo. There is also an infinity outdoor pool, a free panoramic gym and a SPA.

The Doorman is the first point of contact between guests and the hotel. They are responsible for creating a memorable first impression by warmly welcoming all guests with courtesy and professionalism, assisting with luggage, and providing information and support to ensure a flawless stay. This role requires impeccable presentation, a positive attitude, and an in-depth knowledge of the hotel's services and procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and departure, offering personalized service that reflects the excellence of the hotel.
- Assist guests with luggage transport upon arrival and departure, coordinating with the bell staff to ensure prompt and efficient service.
- Open the hotel doors for guests arriving and departing, ensuring the entrance area is clean and orderly.
- Arrange transportation services for guests, including taxis, limousines, and shuttles, and assist with getting in and out of vehicles.
- Monitor the entrance area to ensure only authorized individuals access the hotel, reporting any suspicious activity to security staff.
- Provide detailed information on hotel services, schedules, local attractions, restaurants, and points of interest, anticipating and meeting guest needs.
- Ensure a continuous, welcoming presence at the hotel entrance, ready to respond promptly to any guest requests.
- Work closely with the front office, reception, and security teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
**Qualifications** Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a 5-star luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment.
- Fluent Italian, English and a second foreign language are considered a plus.
- Communication Skills Exceptional ability to communicate clearly, courteously, and professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Well-groomed and professional appearance, with attention to detail in attire and demeanor.
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to anticipate and meet guest needs discreetly and respectfully.
- Good physical condition for handling luggage and standing for extended periods.
