Gregg Drilling, LLC, 2100 Goodyear Rd, Benecia, California, United States of America Req #79Tuesday, February 28, 2023Job Summary:This position is to ensure drilling operations are executed in accordance with the drilling plan from implementation, completion and abandonment of drill sites.

The Driller is responsible for leading the crew and working with the crew in preparing the equipment and site for the drilling operation, setup and breakdown of drilling sites, which includes repetitive bending, lifting and climbing which are done throughout the normal workday.

This individual promotes safety, reports safety problems, incidents, accidents, or irregularities. Duties/Responsibilities:Ability to work up to 55 hours per week doing physical labor (up to 12 hours per day)Mechanical ability to do minor repairsConduct pre-trip inspectionSet up control zonePerform physical labor, shoveling, drilling debris, and transporting materials using ergonomically correct lifting techniquesAbility to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds or more throughout the work dayRequires ongoing repetitive motions (including but not limited to bending and twisting throughout the work day)Ability to withstand long periods of standing (field work involves time on feet for work day except for breaks and lunch period)Maintain equipmentKnowledge of safety policies and proceduresCan direct subordinate employee(s)Maintain all certifications required by the Industry or OSHAForklift trainedPerforms other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities:Have a valid Commercial driver's license (CDL), Class A preferred but not essential, willingness to obtain Class A. Must be willing to travel extensivelyAbility to lift up to fifty (50) pounds throughout the dayAbility to pass a yearly physical and random drug testsExcellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
