For more information: SEGULA Technologies Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Driveline Hydraulic Engineer to join our team and support an important customer.

The activity includes:

Design hydraulic systems and components for Driveline applications:Design models and perform performance evaluation on virtual environment (Amesim)Design or support co-design of hydraulic componentsDesign product cards to engage suppliers for systems and componentsDefine and follow up Design Validation Plan on components and systemsSupport Integration test activities for systems and components on final drivelineCreate models and drawings on Pro-E for hydraulic/mechanical parts and component assemblies:Responsible to deliver 3D models and drawingsFollow process for drawing releases, ECO/ECR releaseAble to set and follow design reviewsSupport new programs for new or improved Hydraulic systems in Driveline perimeter:Be accountable for CPM (Current Product Management) maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical components under DL EH responsibility, as well as to support Design ReviewsResponsible to validate Mech. /Hydraulic concept layout by FMEA and simulationAccountable to investigate new hydraulic component technologies, as well as Electro/Hydraulic state of the art solutions.

Interface with DL Electronic team for integrated mechatronic solutions and El. Hydraulic controlsDevelop plans to achieve cost and reliability targets of assigned components and systemsDevelop common processes & procedures and promote usage across vehicle platformsQualificationsDesired qualifications:

Mechanical/Hydraulic Engineering Degree or equivalentAt least 3 years of experience.

Mandatory participation in University Fluid Power courseFurther Training or Hyd master are a plusExperience on CAD system (Pro-e/Creo preferred)Knowledge of Matlab SimulinkKnowledge of hydraulic systems and componentsExperience on integration issues for hydraulic sensors/actuators with electronic control unitsBasics on Model Based DesignKnowledge of English and Italian LanguageAdditional InformationAt SEGULA Technologies, diversity, equity and inclusion are at the core of our human resources policy.
