Dtc Supply Chain Operations Specialist
Position Summary
DtC (Direct to Consumer) channel is a new growing engine for Samsung.
This position will take Samsung DtC business to the next level, bringing your strategic & hands-on experience within eCommerce and consumer behaviour in supply chain & logistics perspective.
Role and Responsibilities
Quality Management:
- Improve the consumers' journey by analysing and by improving the DtC flows
- Find the weakness (eg, consumers pain points / company's profit loss / fraud) in the DtC flow (Order ~ Delivery / Reverse logistics), and Improve the process/system by collaborating closely with partners in Digital, Ecommerce, Supply Chain, Consumer Services, System teams
- Build and lead the VOC feedback loop with relevant players (SVC, e-store operation, 3PL/4PL)
- Day to day contact with 3PL/4PL Carriers, Customer Service, & Digital transformation team.
- Build dashboard and monitor/trace the DtC order & delivery status
- Ensure a smooth order flow through all operations systems and interfaces, 3PL.
- Create and run ad-hoc reports to identify irregularities, needs for service improvements and derive meaningful actions.
DtC S&OP:
- Bridge between the commercial (sales & marketing) and the operational part (platform, system, 3PL/4PL, service, etc)
- Prepare logistics capacity & resources (W/H, Transportation) for e-commerce by planning and forecasting, as part of E-commerce S&OP (sales & operations planning) process with Commercial / SCM / Platform / 3PL/4PL.
- Coordinate for special actions like new flagship models launches or Black Friday with 3PL/4PL.
- Create weekly / monthly reports analysing the DtC delivery performance & result
New Service Development:
- Develop & design new delivery service in order to provide differentiated value to consumers, such as same delivery, drop ship, gift wrapping, made-to-order, product personalisation through collaboration in different projects and work-streams
- Lead the implementation of new systems and processes from the definition of business requirements to the successful roll out
- Identify new consumers' self-service opportunities to reduce Consumer Services contacts (e. g.
delivery status check, automated returns)
Skills and Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Master / Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management.
- Prior experience optimizing e-commerce supply chains & logistics incl.
underlining systems, process changes and enhancements
- Proven track record in delivering innovative consumer experience initiatives and being involved or overseeing end-to-end
- Experience in coordinating internal and external service providers
**Skills**:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with details; Microsoft Excel is essential
- Strong eye for detail and experience with databases and reporting
- Quality improvement skills : 6 sigma or lean Kaizen preferred
- Process design
- Strong communication & Stakeholder management skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize various tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Language: Fluent English & Italian
