RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform a range of site maintenance activities, either to support others or to achieve pre-established outcomes
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and systems for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance inspections
- Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area.
Involves using existing systems and protocols
- Supervise a team performing routine work
- Design own monthly schedule and, if necessary, assign work to others in order to speed up office workflow and ensure high-priority tasks get done
- Responsible for Maintenance Management and personally involved in instrumentation and DCS Maintenance and set up
- Responsibility for basic IT trouble shouting (supported by an external service provider and by our online corporate IT Service)
- Defining the predictive and preventive maintenance plan
- Accountability for the Purchase Requisition in SAP and Controlling and Accounting of the work progress.
- Planning of the maintenance shutdown along with the Production Manager
- Keeping the operative work instruction updated and/or promoting new procedures
- Accountability for managing and planning the activities according to Evonik safety requirements
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- E & I background: Technical School Diploma (as a mínimal requirement)
- Minimum 5 years experience in an equivalent position
- Previous experience in a high level of management company: able to deal and fulfill complex corporate procedure.
- High safety background.
Manages and applies safe systems of work without supervision and provides technical guidance when required.
- Open to explore new solutions and keen to innovations
- Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives as well as developing and monitoring policies and procedures
- Manages and applies safe systems of work without supervision and provides technical guidance when required
- High level of IT knowledge (network and systems)
- SAP knowledge
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
- Clear and effective verbal communications skills and provide technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions and formulating plans or policies
