E-commerce Product Manager - MBE Worldwide
For our Milan Headquarter we are seeking an E-COMMERCE PRODUCT MANAGER.
The E-commerce Product Manager will support the development and implementation of MBE Digital products and services proposition for the e-commerce target to serve e-merchants with all their shipping and fulfillment needs, ensuring an outstanding user experience and a seamless integration between their platforms (either CMS or Marketplaces) and MBE shipping & fulfillment services, to grow and widen MBE digital business solutions in the e-commerce space and drive profitability growth. Geographies of relevance are: Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Poland, Portugal, the UK and Ireland. The E-commerce Product Manager will report to the MBE Worldwide Digital Solutions Director.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage digital products and e-commerce proposition development in all its process cycle, from web based user experience to backend product process management, ensuring objectives and budgets are met, working with the local Product Managers in each Country.
Perform market analysis to assess the competition, industry trends, best practices, and customer satisfaction in the Digital and e-commerce market.
Define KPIs, product positioning, requirements, pricing, marketing needs, communication, training, and action plans.
Develop, execute, test, monitor, analyze, and optimize all aspects of product marketing.
Define metrics for success, prioritize initiatives and resource requirements.
Define a proper go-to-market strategy in order to strengthen MBE's positioning on the eCommerce community.
Coordinate cross-functional teams globally, hold them accountable, define expected contribution and incorporate feedback and ideas (Sales, Operations, IT, Marketing, Legal, Training, etc. ).
Clearly articulate product information and value proposition to internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution across franchisees and HQ team.
Analyze and monitor products performances in terms of sales and level of adoption in the network, maximizing all the available levers to ensure targets achievement.
Skills and Qualifications
Consistent experience in products and services for the e-commerce market and Service-based type of business in an international environment.
At least 5 years' experience in a similar position in Business Development, Product Management and/or Project Management in an online-based type of Business.
Master Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
Strategic thinking & Business acumen - understanding markets, trends and competition.
Process driven approach.
Strong understanding of data and performance/operation metrics: ability to critically analyze data and build solutions on selected insights. Advanced to expert user of Excel.
Strong knowledge of the main CMS and Digital e-commerce platforms.
Exceptional project management skills; able to work independently on multiple assignments while maintaining high-quality and timely results.
People-driven attitude and team orientation with ability to nurture team spirit.
Innovation attitude: thinking out of the box introducing new solutions and new processes to enable our employed partners/franchisees/customers to become more productive.
Being able to manage internal and external stakeholders to positively influence and build strong mutually-beneficial relationships.
Great communication and presentation skills.
Excellent mastery of written and spoken English.
