As Firmware Engineer, you will join a multidisciplinary team oriented in the design, development and production of mechatronic solutions for automotive sector.

We look for motivated and forward-looking people, with experience in embedded system design and an obvious passion for engineering and building new things.

In e-Shock we do not impose any limit to the creativity and proactivity in the choice and application of new technologies.

Activities:        Define software architecture for embedded systems and related functional requirements        Design and develop high performance firmware (C) on multi-platform based systems by leveraging a strong understanding of embedded hardware design        Define and implement application specific verification and validation plans        Coordinate the firmware development project with internal and external resources        Interface and follow-up with the different engineering areas of e-Shock to ensure that the requirements are adequately implemented Technical Skills:       Engineering degree in Electronics, Information Technology or Mechatronics.

PhD is a plus.

Deep practical knowledge in embedded device programming (C)        Practical understanding of electronic schematics of embedded devices        Practical knowledge about communication protocols (CAN, LIN, SPI, etc. . )        Proven experience with applications based on Bluetooth, WiFi, LTE and GPS technologies        Practical knowledge of revision control systems (e. g.

GIT) Desirable Skills:      C++, C# and Python programming        Practical knowledge of the Linux environment on embedded platforms        Experience using Vector toolchain (e. g.

CANoe, CANAnalyzer, VT System)        Experience in automotive diagnostics and flashing protocols (e. g.

KWP and UDS)        Experience in develop HW test automation        Hands-on experience testing and debugging circuitry, with clear mastery of tools such as oscilloscopes, logic/network/spectrum analysers, function/pulse generators, etc.

Experience using tools for requirements management (e. g.

Polarion, DOORS)        Practical knowledge of firmware design according to cybersecurity and ISO SAE 21434        At least 3 years experience Other skills:      Good English        Team working attitude and strong communication skills        Analytics capabilities and attitude to problem solving        Availability to travel (Italy and abroad)        Flexibility, enthusiasm, positive attitude Interested candidates apply by filling the form below this post.
