Job Description:The Industrial Product Engineer will be responsible for specification, integration, and validation of all industrial engineering aspects of new products to ensure that designs can be manufactured according to functional and economical requirements.
This includes a strong collaboration across internal departments - Engineering, Procurement, and Quality – and external partners for manufacturing.
Responsibilities: Engage Design Engineering early in the product development process for ensuring testability, assembly feasibility, manufacturability, and cost targets. Specify the design and manufacturing of the production test benches including software, equipment, and tooling according to each project's need. Assess the bill of material cost and investments of each industrialization project. Scout key suppliers and partners for manufacturing located in different regions, according to local market opportunities, and negotiate supplying and manufacturing contracts. Follow-up of subcontracting activities, coordinating relevant partners and suppliers to build the industrial process from prototypes to serial products. Implement mass production processes through the writing of procedures and work instructions. Organize trainings with the Production department. Analyze engineering change requests and update the manufacturing documents and processes accordingly. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering. Minimum of 3 years of experience in realization of electronic or mechatronic products. Significant experience in Project Management. Significant experience in negotiation of contracts with suppliers. Fluent in English. Desired Qualifications: Knowledge/experience in Electronics is a must. Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic assembly. Knowledge of versioning management tools (GIT). Knowledge of CAD tools for mechanical design is a plus. Basic knowledge of programming languages C, C++, C#, and SQL. Experience in manufacturing processes/methods. Ability to work with people from other backgrounds, with other skills. Open-minded, autonomous, self-organized.
