E2E System Engineer

We're hiring an E2E System Engineer within the Observation system department/E2E System Design and Verification unit. He/she has to support the E2E System Engineering activities.
Task description: Developing scientific algorithms in the fields of SAR remote sensing, image processing, and mission analysisEngineering Requirements Analysis and flow-down activityDeveloping mathematical models and budgets for optical payload performanceMission Analysis for Satellites Optical SystemsCalibration activities for already operative SAR SystemsKnowledge of System physical and functional architecture of satellite systemsEnd-to-End Verification approach definition and executionWriting technical documents and project reportsPersonal requirements: The ideal candidate has to be educated to Engineering master degree, preferentially with a Ph. D. In addition, a distinctly propensity to team working is required, jointly with strong analytical and technical skills, problem-solving capability, and solid knowledge of statistical methods for temporal and spatial analysis of scientific data. Open-minded to different cultures in working, she/he is always required to use a collaborative approach, helping to find shared solutions.
